Welcome to The Glass Jar - A Refillable Market, where we're on a mission to change the way you shop on Cape Cod. Our goal is simple: promote reusable packaging and make affordable food purchases a reality for everyone.


We know that every product comes in a container, and instead of letting them go to waste, we want to give them a second chance. Rather than tossing away items like pasta sauce jars, pickle jars, plastic sealable containers, spray bottles, and spice jars, let's choose to reuse them!


Did you know that only 9% of items actually get recycled into something new? By joining us in embracing a new way of shopping and reusing packaging, we can prevent these containers from ending up in landfills or polluting our oceans. Let's make a positive impact on our environment together.

HOW IT WORKS

  1) Bring your clean, dry container, we will tare the weight on entrance. Don’t have a container, don’t worry! We have glass jars for purchase or free paper bags. 
2) Refill your container with our goods. You are able to take as much or as little as you like, as products are sold by weight. This is great for spices, and trying products!

3) Bring your refilled containers to the counter where it will be weighted for checkout.
